Community get-together and lecture by Dr. Marcha Johnson

Protect the Highlands invites you to an afternoon of information, advocacy, and community. Learn about the Upland Alternative, a community and environmentally-conscious alternative to the Fjord Trail.

Special guest speaker: Dr. Marcha Johnson, PhD, ASLA, SER, a landscape architect and ecological restorationist, will share research on the Hudson River’s evolving floodplain, answering the questions: What’s being gained? What’s being lost? And where we are headed?

Space is limited and advanced registration is encouraged. Suggested donation is $50. Tasty finger foods, beer, and wine will be provided.
